Sunday sewing space
So, my man advised against it (something along the lines of "you cant, seriously, its a cupboard, it'd be depressing") but I've joined in anyway and participated in lovely Lotti's Sunday Sewing Space. Well.... its just so nice to be asked, you know? And to be fair to the man, we had just been reading the posts from Leila and Ayumi...
So, pop over to Lawson and Lotti for todays SundaySwearing Sewing Space and have a nosy - grab a cuppa first so you can stay there for a proper visit too, Lotti is lovely :-)

Fantastic interview Sarah! I just loved seeing your sewing space (no need to just imagine you in it now) and hearing more about how you make the sewing magic happen! And how amazing is your dream sewing space!?! I want!!!
ReplyDeleteYes - so glad to have finally seen the 'cupbard'. What a great little sewing place: and I have fabric envy too
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nosy, can't wait to visit it in person :o)
ReplyDeleteLovely, at least you have a "room" - I just got to show my dining area!
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely feature and your space is very nice. I am currently - ie, today - moving all the sewing stuff back into my bedroom as I have to give over the spare room to returning daughter and her beau. I expect more shelving might be on the list of things to do too, always a good idea.
ReplyDeleteJust came back from reading the post. I really didn't know you made in a cupboard. I thought you just got shoved here when you sleep. I obviously need to worry not because your cupboard is probably bigger than my spare bedroom and you've got it so super organised. Thanks for showing us around.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Hads - when all I can show is my dining room no showing will happen. Now I am off to read all about you and your space.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great cupboard - it must have magic properties like Mary Poppins' bag, I wouldn't be surprised to find a floor lamp, hat stand and parrot in there with you!!
ReplyDeleteCool! I'm on my way over to have a peek!
ReplyDeleteMy spare bedroom is still "under construction" as a sewing room, and the imminent arrival of one of my mum's friends who will stay overnight in it means it's not likely to transform much further into a sewing room until after that!
ReplyDeleteWill go and read about your cupboard right now! ... I miss my walk-in closets from America, they were bigger than a lot of UK bedrooms!
Cool post. Look at all that fabric!! And I was going to bring you some but you clearly are in no need of more... ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great sewing space. Awesome way to utilise the space to your advantage! The shelving in there looks like a big help for storing all that fabric. =D
ReplyDeleteGreat post Sarah, I popped right over and had fun reading your fabulous post.
ReplyDeleteLove your cosy cupboard! So that's were all the amazing creations come out of!! Jxo
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasure to have you and I think your cupboard is fab :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your cupboard!
