Introducing the Beach Trash Hexies cushion.
A finish-along finish!
(I hand stitched the zipper, then topstitched with the walking foot to hold it firmly in place.)
(Just in case you remember how crap a time I was having with zips...)
April Brit Bee Blocks done (little late, oops)
My weekend, in pyjamas, will be spent doing some of this...
And a lot of this....
I love the movie part! Just tell me which one is it worth to watch. Pretty cushion!
ReplyDeleteLove that cushion! Enjoy the movies x
ReplyDeleteI love that pillow, the colours are wonderful. And I am glad that walking foot sorted out some of the zipper stuff. Enjoy the pj weekend, I am going to be really lazy too.
ReplyDeleteYour cheerfulness is making me happy. Lovely cushion!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cushion. I fully intend to have a weekend very similar to yours! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteOh welldone for beating the zip, its still on my chicken list (as in im too chicken to try)
ReplyDeleteAre there two more parts?
ReplyDeleteThe cushion is fabulous and the to do pile might be tedious but well worth it after we love our HSTs!
I'm in pjs too. Family all buggered off to the Peaks for the day. Laundry in. Dinner in hand (sort of) and sewing beckons. Woohoo! Hope they don't do a super quick walk and return shortly after lunch. I love them, but I also love them taking a long, long walk.
ReplyDeleteaieeeeeeee - HST trimming!!!!!!!

The cushion looks great.
ReplyDeleteYay for finishes! Alas, with the builders in today I had to be out of my jammies damnit!

ReplyDeleteLove the blocks for Ceri.
What movies are you watching???? We did Parent Trap on demand yesterday!
I have total weekend envy. We're at the fitting sinks/radiators/painting stage of the wee loo refit. Covered in silicon and stoor! Tempers are starting to fray, too!
ReplyDeleteP.S. did you ever show your sexy yellow floor? Or have I dreamt that whole thing...
Woohooo! A finish! Be happy :) x
ReplyDeletefab cushion x no photo of the pjs?
ReplyDeleteSo happy you won Alison's amazing giveaway - I love your cushion!!
ReplyDeleteThe cushion is fabby ... I have seen it in the flesh.
ReplyDeleteFab cushion and love the bee blocks too. Wish I was watchin a film now instead of enduring some crap Star Trek doco.
ReplyDeleteLove everything about this post! xxx
ReplyDeleteYour cushion & blocks are stunning! And is that a sunny day I see there? Jxo
ReplyDeleteThe cushion is perfection. What movies did you watch?
ReplyDeleteOh I'm with you. Usually I cut my quilt blocks out one by one but I have a Stanley Cup hockey game to watch from last night (if NBC haven't restricted it for 48 hours) and I suppose it would be sensible to cut at the same time. Maybe get all my Heaven and Helsinki blocks done so I know just how much fabric is left over to go in my stash (and other forthcoming projects)
ReplyDeleteNo one else is up in the house yet so I don't have a time for chatting as of now (not sure what the day will bring for the family) - my plan is NOTHING but with it being Mother's Day they may have other plans. I love this pillow!! It turned out lovely and it is DONE!!! I see some other blocks getting worked on...woo hoo!!! Chat soon!!
ReplyDeleteI liked the hexies before but they look brilliant now as a cushion. And another thing checked off the list!
ReplyDeleteThe hexys look fab as a cushion, I love it, i'll send you my address so I can add it to my colleciton, it is for me, right? :o)
ReplyDeleteLove the cushion! And I wouldn't care if the blocks were late if they were mine, they are fabulous.
