I'm happy in the blissful misapprehension that you're here cos you quite like reading and, I hope, sometimes get a laugh coming here. So, I'm not going to enter this into the glorious Sew Mama Sew giveaway day.
However, it is a wonderful, awesome sewing day which I love to take part in each year, so I'd like to give something too. I'll do a wee parcel. Just a wee one. Nothing jaw droppingly amazing I'm afraid, but I'll try and make it nice, promise I will. I'll pick a winner with Random thingy on Monday 13th May. If you are a no reply blogger and you dont leave your email in your comment, tough luck - I'll be choosing again. It will be open internationally though.
Anyway, the above hoop. If you'd like it, tell me what you'd like it to say, as I'd like to stitch a wee bitty something else on it, just for you.
So for all those who stop by every time, or just once in a while, thank you. Its awffy nice to know I'm not (always) just talking to the cat....
And Good luck, I hope you have a happy and lucky Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day!!
***GIVEAWAY CLOSED NOW***
You choose something. You're much funnier than me!
ReplyDeleteI sew, so I don't kill ;o)
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
This is very cute. Would look lovely hanging next to my mug rug :-)
ReplyDeleteIts also ridiculously close to the next tattoo I want .
Im not sure what id want it to you.... probably something downright vulgar.
It could say "You are the random winner!" and yes, I'm reading the blog even if you can't hear me.
ReplyDeleteHow about - stop bitching get stitching! Or some such....
ReplyDeleteLove that hoop and would want something suitably sarcastic or rude.
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous, I would love it, especially if it said "I stitch, so I'm not a git"
ReplyDeleteMe and M have been laughing all day at the word git.
Cheaper than therapy. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI think Mr Skull should be sweary. Just coz. And your blog is one of the few that I get genuinely excited over new posts. Coz you're funny and sweet and all that other boak stuff. *g*
ReplyDeleteI love this skull! It looks great without any more stitching and I am not one of these creative minds ...but maybe something like 'got lost in stitching'
ReplyDeleteDefinitely something sweary and funny, but you choose, there are already some funny answers! :o)
ReplyDeleteCan you make it one of your really foulest - funniest - most risque phrases please!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteI can't think of anything funny...stop giving me the needle, one day she'll stitch me a bone? You are way funnier - something sweary in Celtic?
ReplyDeleteI think something vulgar and sweary would be best!
ReplyDeleteYou choose cos all I see is sew or die and that's so last year. You'll come up with something far cooler and probably filthier than I could!
ReplyDeleteGreat skull, and I'm afraid I am way too unimaginative to think of anything:you would stitch something just right for the winner
ReplyDeleteBeing a bit of a languages geek (if there is something like that), I'd ask for something very, very Scottish.
ReplyDeleteAs for my visits here, Lynz probably summed it up best. (I had to google "boak" though ;))
I agree, you are way better to pick something for it to say!! I love your blog and your stitching is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteCan I cop out like the others - something Scottish and rude that won't disturb the children please!!!
ReplyDelete'This took forever' :)
ReplyDeleteHow about 'talk to the cat cos the face is fast asleep!!' Sorry, couldn't resist! Jxo
ReplyDeleteI'll save you a bit of sewing 'Stitch it bitch!' Nice and succinct, huh?
ReplyDeleteSewing Misfits!
ReplyDeleteI will leave it to you to make a suitable wee parcel, it would be lovely to win.
ReplyDeleteI do not think it needs to say anything!
ReplyDeleteBut it might be thinking 'it is in the fabric of my bones..' or saying 'stitch that!'
I love it just as it is, but some swearage would be appreciated ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog even if I don't always get round to commenting :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love a sweary addition to the hoop!
Lol (-: too many projects not enough time!
ReplyDeleteHow about "A fiver says Ellicat can kick your a**". Seems about right :)
ReplyDeleteYou're hilarious :)
Don't rip my seams...
ReplyDeleteAnd I enjoy reading your blog!!
Very cool Sarah! I'd like something sweary, but I'd leave that up to you ;o)
ReplyDeleteOh I love this!!!! But I will let you pick the saying.....
ReplyDeleteI've been racking my brain cell for almost three days now and I still can't think of anything to put on the hoop so I think I'm going to have to leave it up to you/someone else to think of one! Nothing that will scare Archie, though, he has a delicate disposition...
ReplyDeleteAll I can think the hoop should say is 'Pin Head'. Sorry, I am crap at this but I love you, missus. Just over two weeks until you are here. Woohoo!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, brain freeze! Gonnae sew dae that? This is f@cking awesome? (And it is by the way!)
ReplyDelete"This is to die for!"
ReplyDeleteLOL

Ha ha! laughing at all the comments! Oh heck I can't compete, you pick, but nothing too crude, the little eyes in this house see everything, even in the sewing room! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching Sarah :-) I'm not sure what it should say, something sweary 'Fuck off I'm sewing!' or perhaps 'Fetch me musket!' (corpse bride reference)
ReplyDeleteI'd be a happy bunny with either or some other swearings of your choice ;-)
