let the skully speak.

I'm happy in the blissful misapprehension that you're here cos you quite like reading and, I hope, sometimes get a laugh coming here. So, I'm not going to enter this into the glorious Sew Mama Sew giveaway day.

However, it is a wonderful, awesome sewing day which I love to take part in each year, so I'd like to give something too.   I'll do a wee parcel.  Just a wee one.  Nothing jaw droppingly amazing I'm afraid, but I'll try and make it nice, promise I will.  I'll pick a winner with Random thingy on Monday 13th May.  If you are a no reply blogger and you dont leave your email in your comment, tough luck - I'll be choosing again.  It will be open internationally though.

Anyway, the above hoop.  If you'd like it, tell me what you'd like it to say, as I'd like to stitch a wee bitty something else on it, just for you.

So for all those who stop by every time, or just once in a while, thank you.  Its awffy nice to know I'm not (always) just talking to the cat....
And Good luck, I hope you have a happy and lucky Sew Mama Sew Giveaway day!!

  7. So gorgeous, I would love it, especially if it said "I stitch, so I'm not a git"
Me and M have been laughing all day at the word git.

  9. I think Mr Skull should be sweary. Just coz. And your blog is one of the few that I get genuinely excited over new posts. Coz you're funny and sweet and all that other boak stuff. *g*

  10. I love this skull! It looks great without any more stitching and I am not one of these creative minds ...but maybe something like 'got lost in stitching'

  11. Definitely something sweary and funny, but you choose, there are already some funny answers! :o)

  13. I can't think of anything funny...stop giving me the needle, one day she'll stitch me a bone? You are way funnier - something sweary in Celtic?

  14. I think something vulgar and sweary would be best!

  15. You choose cos all I see is sew or die and that's so last year. You'll come up with something far cooler and probably filthier than I could!

  16. Great skull, and I'm afraid I am way too unimaginative to think of anything:you would stitch something just right for the winner

  17. Being a bit of a languages geek (if there is something like that), I'd ask for something very, very Scottish.
As for my visits here, Lynz probably summed it up best. (I had to google "boak" though ;))

  21. I'll save you a bit of sewing 'Stitch it bitch!' Nice and succinct, huh?

  22. I will leave it to you to make a suitable wee parcel, it would be lovely to win.

  23. I do not think it needs to say anything!
But it might be thinking 'it is in the fabric of my bones..' or saying 'stitch that!'

  24. I love it just as it is, but some swearage would be appreciated ;-)

  31. I've been racking my brain cell for almost three days now and I still can't think of anything to put on the hoop so I think I'm going to have to leave it up to you/someone else to think of one! Nothing that will scare Archie, though, he has a delicate disposition...

    ReplyDelete
  32. All I can think the hoop should say is 'Pin Head'. Sorry, I am crap at this but I love you, missus. Just over two weeks until you are here. Woohoo!!!!

    ReplyDelete

  35. Ha ha! laughing at all the comments! Oh heck I can't compete, you pick, but nothing too crude, the little eyes in this house see everything, even in the sewing room! xx

    ReplyDelete
  36. Lovely stitching Sarah :-) I'm not sure what it should say, something sweary 'Fuck off I'm sewing!' or perhaps 'Fetch me musket!' (corpse bride reference)
I'd be a happy bunny with either or some other swearings of your choice ;-)
